EDPR will acquire an 85% equity stake in a solar generation portfolio that includes 89 MW of operating and near completion capacity. The investment corresponds to an enterprise value of approximately $119m and will establish EDPR’s presence in the fast-growing distributed generation segments

The investment secures a share in Rensource, a company which develops decentralized solar energy systems for small businesses and micro-companies. The plan reinforces the strategy to widen access to sustainable energy in the african continent.

The BEHYOND project focuses on the development of the hydrogen production operation from wind power, on a new platform installed on the high seas.
