This is the second consecutive year that EDP Brasil CEO is recognized by the magazine's rankings, which are prepared by the investor community itself.

Miguel Setas, the CEO of EDP Brasil, was distinguished as one of the three best CEOs in the Latin American electricity industry by the magazine Institutional Investor, a publication that distinguishes leaders with excellent performances in Investor Relationships.  This is the second consecutive year that the CEO is recognized by the magazine's rankings, which are prepared by the investor community itself.

EDP Brasil, which operates in the entire electricity industry chain (distribution, trade, production and transmission), was awarded by the 2017 edition in two other categories. The company was distinguished for having the second best Investor Relations program and the third best website. Overall, the rankings involved the participation of 577 investors and 278 market analysts from 16 different segments.

"The ultimate goal of EDP's operation is to meet the needs of all our major stakeholders, with the purpose of creating shared value for society, customers, the electricity industry, and our investors. That's why we continuously invest in the improvement of our relationship channels, constantly seeking an open and transparent communication," says Miguel Setas.

A recent improvement example is the new EDP Brasil Investor Relations website, which was launched earlier this month to provide a more direct and clear overview of the company's results, rates, market announcements, presentations, etc. Access to the webpage has also changed.
