The role of electricity in the decarbonization of the portuguese economy

What is the extent to which electricity can contribute to the decarbonization of the Portuguese energy sector? What are the economic, budgetary and distributional impacts of policies to support the decarbonization of the Portuguese economy?

These are the motivating questions guiding this study, a partnership between  the Center for Sustainability and Environmental Research from Nova University of Lisbon and the Department of Economics from College of William and Mary, an american university.
