The Asturian company Rymoil has been acknowledged by EDP as the best collaborative company in the Sustainability field. The contest of the energy company, EDParners, has awarded the company of Carreño for its work and good practice, focused on achieving a common sustainable development.

It is the first theater capable of measuring the energy generated by the audience, which is collected and transformed into kilowatt hours to be donated to institutions and solidarity projects

It is aimed to support initiatives developed in the councils of Carreño, Ribera de Arriba, Proaza, Quirós, Somiedo, Belmonte and Sobrescobio

The acquisition of Enertel reinforces the internationalization strategy of EDP’s commercial sector towards other European markets. EDP Commercial has four million clients in Portugal, 30 000 contracts in Spain and already supplies energy and solar panels to companies in Italy and Poland.

The plant, with a power of 1.3 MWp will be operated by EDP for 15 years
