VITO hosted the kick-off meeting of AmBIENCe – Active managed Buildings with Energy performaNce Contracting – in Brussels, during the 9^th and 10^th of July, having all project participants attended. The main goal of this gathering was to engage the consortium in a debate regarding the status of the ongoing work, as well as to delineate the methodology to be followed.

The agenda was filled with Work Package-oriented presentations and Q&A sessions, during which, for each constitutive task, the subtasks, milestones, risks and dependencies were discriminated. NEW R&D carried out the presentation on the Work Package that is coordinating, namely WP3: Implementation And Validation Of The Active Building EPC Concept And Business Model In Two Pilots.

Adding to the mentioned presentations, the consortium has promoted a work session on the several regional workshops that will occur during the project, aiming to disseminate its results and collect inputs from experts whose activity relates to AmBIENCe.
