Changing Tomorrow Now
EDP Atlantic Mission

The biggest record to break is to change the world with the energy of the wind

EDP Atlantic Mission is the biggest challenge that Francisco Lufinha undertook. The kite surfer will cross the Atlantic Ocean alone in a kite boat. The plan is to reuse an existing sailboat, adapt it to the kite's traction, use renewable energies (wind, sun and water) and safely make this huge ocean crossing.
With this crossing, the athlete and EDP intend to raise the awareness of society for the preservation of the oceans and, also, to break the Guinness record for Fastest Solo Atlantic Crossing by Kite Boat. The crossing is scheduled for November.
