DATA PROTECTION FORM – “KEEP IT LOCAL” SCHOLARSHIPS
PRIVACY POLICY In accordance with the applicable regulations on personal data protection, the applicant for the “KEEP IT LOCAL” Scholarship (hereinafter, the “Scholarship”) is informed that the personal data established in the 2020-21 ‘KEEP IT LOCAL’ Call for Applications (hereinafter, the “Bases”) will be processed by EDP RENOVÁVEIS, S.A., (hereinafter, the “Controller”) with NIF A74219304, registered office at C/ Serrano Galvache, 56 – Parque Empresarial Parque Norte – 28033 MADRID and email address for privacy purposes complianceofficer@edpr.com, in a lawful, fair, and transparent manner for the following purposes: a) The administrative management derived from the application for the Scholarship subject to these Bases. b) The management of the selection process of the applicant and the corresponding verification of compliance with the requirements requested in these Bases. c) The management for the applicant's attendance at the corresponding training derived from their access to the Scholarship, consisting of the communication of their personal data to the Wind Energy Business Association. d) The management of a possible candidacy of the applicant who accesses the Scholarship within the framework of future selection processes carried out by the Controller. e) The organization, if applicable, of an award ceremony for the granted scholarships. f) The fulfillment of the obligations to which the Controller is subject as a result of this initiative. g) The sending to the applicant of commercial communications with similar initiatives that may be of interest by the Controller.
Additionally, the applicant authorizes the processing of their personal data for: h) The publication on the Controller's website, as well as its own internal communication media, of data of the applicant who finally opts for the Scholarship, for the purpose of disseminating this initiative. i) The publication of their data, including images and/or recordings, in local and/or regional media, for the purpose of disseminating this initiative.
The legal basis for the processing derived from purposes a) to e) is the fulfillment of the contractual relationship maintained between the Controller and the applicant. In this regard, the processing of the applicant's data is necessary to carry out the established purposes as otherwise it would not be possible to achieve them. The legal basis for the processing of the applicant's data for purpose f) derives from the Controller's obligation to comply with applicable legal provisions. The legal basis for the processing of the applicant's data for purpose g) is the Controller's legitimate interest in sending this type of communication, allowing the applicant to oppose such reception at any time, free of charge and easily. Finally, the legal basis for purposes h) and i) is the applicant's consent, expressed through the corresponding checkbox in this document.
The personal data provided by the applicant may be communicated to VESTAS, due to its status as a collaborating entity, for the fulfillment of the aforementioned purposes. Likewise, their data may be communicated to the Wind Energy Business Association, as it is necessary to deliver the course for which the scholarship is offered to which the applicant applies. Likewise, data transfers or communications may be made to Public Administrations, in cases where they are required by them or in compliance with any obligation established in the applicable legislation at any given time.
Likewise, EDPR informs that the personal data provided by the applicant will be kept for as long as the contractual relationship is in force (or, where appropriate, until the applicant withdraws their consent), and once this relationship is terminated, if applicable, the data may be kept for the time required by applicable legislation and until any potential liabilities arising from it expire.
The applicant is informed that they have the right to withdraw the consent given for the processing of their data at any time, without prejudice to the lawfulness of the processing carried out up to that point. They may also exercise their rights of access, rectification, deletion, opposition, limitation, as well as the right to data portability, by contacting the email address keepitlocal@edpr.com with a copy to the address complianceofficer@edpr.com with the reference data protection or through the submission of communication addressed to EDPR - Compliance Department, at C/ Serrano Galvache, 56 – Parque Empresarial Parque Norte – Edificio Olmo, 6th floor 28033 MADRID, under the terms established in the current regulations. Similarly, when the applicant considers that their rights recognized by the applicable data protection regulations have been violated, they may file the corresponding complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency.
The submission of this application implies the express acceptance of the entirety of the Call for Applications Bases.
