To celebrate Energy Day, on May 29th, EDP prepared a week of volunteering initiatives and exchange of our skills with the world and the communities where we are present.

Our energy transforms the world
EDP joined forces with Just a Change to make Mrs. Amélia's house as comfortable as possible. Find out more about this project where our volunteers participate to create a safer environment and fight energy poverty.
Through our Volunteering Program, the company's employees will help highlight the positive way we all relate to energy, by being present in schools, social organizations and local communities.

in schools
Our employees will return to the classroom to talk about energy to children. The challenge is to get the younger generation to think about how we use energy, through information on energy efficiency, energy sources, safety in household energy use and climate change.

in social organizations
The most efficient use of energy resources and energy saving are topics on the agenda and EDP wants to help implement action and change plans with various social organizations. The company's Volunteer Electricity Exchange will take action for technical interventions in social organizations that wish to be more sustainable. Also, through voluntary collaborators, EDP organizes training actions on energy efficiency and the rational use of energy resources.

Because we are not alone in our will to transform the world, EDP joins Just a Change, an association that restores homes for people with fewer resources, with our knowledge of energy. This week, we give everything to make Dona Amelia's house more comfortable. Meet this project where our volunteers electricians participate for a safer and more efficient energy.
