Objective

Insulating oils reclaiming consists in re-establishing the oil's physical-chemical and dielectric properties, as characteristics of new oil according to IEC 60296.

Benefits

Oil reclaiming is of growing interest since it allows the increase of oil lifetime with low exploration costs and negligible environmental impact.

Labelec's participation description

EDP Labelec give specialized support in various stages of the process, by characterizing the oil through physical-chemical tests, dielectric and chromatographic, before, during, immediately after, and about 3 months after reclamation. This monitoring of various parameters of the oil characteristics allows to define, with better rigor, the operating parameters.
