EDP Distribuição is the electricity distribution company of the EDP Group which operates in mainland Portugal and is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the medium and high voltage lines of the electricity grid.

In total, this network has 68,000 km of overhead power lines, 28,000 km of which are located in forests.
