The JUKEBOX CREW and the BLKBRDS will stir up the festival

The new EDP Stage will bring a new energy to the MEO Sudoeste festival, which will take place until August 7 in Zambujeira do Mar. Every day, the JUKEBOX CREW and the BLKBRDS will give two performances on the EDP Stage, and engage the audience to participate. NBC, Virgul and April are some of the guests making special appearances.
The concept combines dance, energy and lots of music, and promises to 'stir up' all festival-goers in the audience. The BLKBRDS are a group led by Vasco Alves and Vítor Fonseca, aka Cifrão, which fuse together, in a celebratory way, hip-hop, rock, electro and funk music inspired by the 80s. The JUKEBOX CREW will join them. Performing since 2008, this is one of the most recognized street dance crews, already with international fame.
In addition to guaranteed excitement, those who visit the EDP space can also win one month's worth of free electricity. Dance with the FunkyMonkeys and your energy is given back to you in next month's electricity bill. Every day three EDP Comercial customers will leave the venue with their monthly bill already paid. And if you do not have an utility contract with EDP, no problem – you can enter the taxpayer number of a family member or a friend who is an EDP Comercial customer.
But because festival-goers also like to take memories home, at the EDP space they can also customize bags and mobile phone covers with their name and photo. 'Heart Beats. To the rhythm of... ', EDP's signature for sponsorship in the fields of music and sports.
But EDP's interaction with young people at the festival does not stop there. The company has partnered with Youtube channel #TUDOÀPALA, which reunites 7 of the most popular youtubers in Portugal. They will go around the festival promoting the activation of the EDP brand by recording and posting videos, both on their channel and on EDP's official Youtube channel (https://www.youtube.com/GrupoEdp).
And because the Portuguese energy company wants to be with festival-goers from the beginning to the end, it provides the EDP BUS - a free shuttle bus taking festival-goers between the venue of the event and the nearest beaches, along the shores of Zambujeira do Mar, every day of the festival.
