EDP Brasil's president recognized as one of the country's top CEOs

Miguel Setas became president of the company in 2014

Miguel Setas, President of EDP Brasil, has been recognized by Forbes magazine as one of the best CEOs in the country in 2017. This is the second time that Miguel Setas has been recognized by Forbes.


The manager was selected as one of the 25 most respected leaders in Brazil, by experts from major international consultants and some of the world's best business and management schools.


"Since 2005, when we took our company public, we built a relationship of trust with our investors and market analysts. We have developed this relationship by acting ethically, with transparency and diligence. It is with satisfaction that we see that investment being recognized", says Setas.


For more than 20 years in the country, EDP Brasil has been an integrated company, operating in the areas of generation, transmission, distribution, marketing and solutions in electric energy. It operates in 13 states (Amapá, Ceará, Espírito Santo, Mato Grosso, Mato Grosso do Sul, Pará, São Paulo, Rio Grande do Sul, Tocantins, Minas Gerais, Santa Catarina, Rio Grande do Sul and Maranhão) and has three thousand employees. In energy distribution, it supplies more than 3.3 million customers in the states of São Paulo and Espírito Santo.
