EDPCOOLJAZZ nominated for Best Musical Event
2018 edition shortlisted in BEA WORLD - Best Event Award. The award ceremony will take place on November 23, in Coimbra.
In the context of BEA World (The International Festival of Events and Live Communication), BEA World Best Event Award is considered one of the main and most challenging recognitions in the events industry.
The evaluation criteria are based on creativity, innovation and effectiveness - criteria that are taken into account by the notable Jury.
BEA WORLD is an initiative that recognizes and promotes the excellence of events, communicating them worldwide.
This event helps nominated companies from more than 29 countries to find inspiration and new ideas for their events, leading them to greater recognition and even greater competition internationally.
In 2018, this event highlights EDPCOOLJAZZ, which invaded Cascais during the month of July in an edition that left no one indifferent.
Besides the big names (David Byrne, Van Morrison, Gregory Porter and Norah Jones, among others) and the free entry program on Sundays (Cascais Lazy Sundays), there is comfort, an intimate atmosphere, ecological responsibility and, of course, unforgettable scenarios where the festival takes place (Parque Marechal Carmona and Hipódromo Manuel Possolo).
This is what stands out and differentiates a unique festival, with 15 editions, such as EDPCOOLJAZZ.

About EDPCOOLJAZZ
EDPCOOLJAZZ is a musical event of reference that brings together music, nature and heritage. The first edition took place in 2004 with the starting point of offering a cultural and tourist event that would make a difference. The consistency of the eclectic taste together with the "cool" aspect provided by the aura of the event are trademarks that Live Experiences has placed since the first year of the festival. In 2018, the festival returns to the place where it was born: Cascais. Parque Marechal Carmona and Hipódromo Manuel Possolo will be the stages of this edition.
