For the seventh consecutive year, EDP is listed in Euronext's Vigeo Eiris indexes (Euronext Vigeo Eiris World 120, Euronext Vigeo Eiris Europe 120, and Euronext Vigeo Eiris Eurozone 120).

Thus, since 2012, the Group's name has appeared on these three indexes, which list the best companies in terms of ESG (environmental, social, and governance) performance.

These distinctions are based on a performance analysis based on more than 300 indicators, in topics as diverse as Human Rights, Human Resources, Community Involvement, corporate governance, Environment, and business behavior.

In the evaluation process carried out by Vigeo Eiris - one of the most reputable sustainability rating agencies in the socially responsible investment (SRI) market - EDP was distinguished for:

• Occupying the 2nd position in the utilities sector.


• Being a Top Performer in its sector in 3 of the 6 ESG domains: Human Rights 82/100 (1st place); Community Involvement 72/100 (3rd place); and Environment 74/100 (3rd place).


• Being in the Top 1% of the evaluated universe of companies that assume commitments to respect for Human Rights.


• Being a Top Performer in its sector on the topic Transition to a Low-Carbon Economy: 72/100.
