Renewable energy giants launch global campaign on the benefits of the sector
“Renew your way of thinking” is the slogan of the campaign launched by EDP Renováveis, Vestas, and Siemens Gamesa. More than 20 companies and associations have joined this initiative.
The campaign will be launched today simultaneously in Portugal, Spain, France, Brazil and Italy, on a dedicated website and on social media.
EDP Renováveis, Vestas and Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy have joined forces to launch an awareness campaign on the benefits of renewable energies. The campaign kicks off today, June 24, under the slogan “Renew your way of thinking”, and aims to raise awareness on the benefits of renewable energies, in particular wind power.
It is a digital campaign, with a global reach, but also with a special focus on “millennials.” The campaign features ingenious videos, gifs and landing pages with real-life, informative arguments about the characteristics of this energy source, its contribution to the environment, and its advantages for the local economy, among other messages. The goal of the campaign is to offer moments of good entertainment while helping people understand the need to transition to a more sustainable environment, of which renewable energy is mainstay.
This is an unprecedented campaign in that more than 20 companies as well as numerous associations in the renewable energies industry have come together with the purpose of advocating change for all audiences. The campaign will be launched simultaneously in five countries - Spain, Portugal, France, Brazil, and Italy - on YouTube, Twitter, Instagram and Facebook, directing the public to the campaign's landing page.
