SU ELETRICIDADE to apply service restrictions from March 16

Monday 16, March 2020

About half of the company's stores will be temporarily shut down, and those that remain open will have limited access. SU ELETRICIDADE advises customers to use digital and automatic alternatives.

Starting this Monday, March 16, SU ELETRICIDADE will apply some restrictions at its walk-in customer service locations. This is one of the prevention measures the company has adopted to reduce social contact and prevent the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic. These restrictions consist of limiting the number of people allowed to enter our stores and applying social distancing and protection rules for both customers and employees.

Moreover, as of Tuesday, March 17, about half of the stores will be temporarily shut down. The updated list of open stores will be available at sueletricidade.pt. It should be recalled that SU ELETRICIDADE has exclusive stores in Lisbon and Porto districts.

In addition to the contingency plan SU ELETRICIDADE has adopted to protect its customers, partners and employees, the company also advises customers to avoid going to stores.

The company asks for everyone's cooperation and suggests using digital or automatic alternatives to take care of any matter without leaving home. Bills can be paid via homebanking or the ATM network; to send meter readings or get an ATM payment number, just use our new toll-free line: 800 205 000; and to manage contracts, send meter readings, view invoices, obtain payment details or any other matter, customers can access their dedicated area at sueletricidade.pt or through the SU ELETRICIDADE app.

To help customers who do not have access to our digital resources, and to prevent them from going to our stores, SU ELETRICIDADE allows other people - like family members, friends or neighbors - to manage their contracts. To access this solution, SU ELETRICIDADE customers must get permission from the contract holder, access their dedicated area, and choose 'add contract'. Any questions regarding these matters will find an answer on our digital channels - at sueletricidade.pt or in the customer's dedicated area.

The purpose of these measures is to help break the chain of COVID-19 transmission and protect public health while continuing to serve all SU ELETRICIDADE customers. Any updates to these contingency measures will depend on the evolution of the pandemic and on the recommendations of public health agencies, which the company is permanently monitoring.
