EDP Comercial launches new electric mobility offer

EDP Comercial once again reinforces its commitment to decarbonization and is offering a 25% reduction in the value of charging in the public network. Discount is part of EDP's electric mobility positioning campaign, with the Formula-E world champion and company ambassador for mobility, António Félix da Costa.

EDP Comercial once again proves that it wants to continue to lead the evolution of electric mobility in Portugal by launching a new commercial campaign offering discounts on charging solutions both at home and at charging stations.  Since yesterday and until April 30 the company is offering a 25% discount at charging stations with the EDP Electric Mobility card. For villas and condominiums, electric charging solutions start at 22€ per month, with a 20% discount on energy at night.

This offer will be available to consumers through a commercial campaign led for the first time by the brand's new ambassador, the world champion of Formula-E António Félix da Costa. The pilot hosts an electric vehicle competition with actors João Manzarra and Carolina Loureiro, ambassadors of Planet Zero from EDP, in which they demonstrate, in an innovative and fun way, that there are varied, sustainable mobility options accessible to everyone.

The campaign film was designed by Partners agency, produced by producer 78 and recorded at Santarém airport. Wavemaker was responsible for the media buying. The campaign will be broadcast on television and advertised on digital platforms in the next three weeks.

With the launch of a new offer in this area, EDP Comercial aims to raise awareness of the importance of using electric vehicles, supporting the transition to this intelligent mobility with the offer of discounts on electricity consumption, which, for electric mobility customers, is 100% green. Under the motto "The energy of Generation Zero to move the world is electric," EDP Comercial emphasizes the importance of adopting increasingly sustainable daily behaviors, knowing that the well-being of communities and the planet depends on us all.

EDP Comercial is positioned as a reference partner for electrical and intelligent mobility in Portugal, with more than More then 25.000 electric mobility cards already distributed, taking the lead in CEME card and with the commitment of having 1,000 charging stations by the end of 2021.
