Energy Starter brings together startups and innovation leaders at the Open Day event in Lisbon

Open event to the energy and innovation communities brings together companies, investors, and leaders on the 29th of June in Lisbon. Find out how to participate in this meeting that will close the last track of this collaborative EDP program.

The countdown has begun for the third and final track of Energy Starter, a collaborative innovation program that aims to discover and connect startups and scaleups to EDP experts across the globe and to fast-track the development of pilot-projects, commercial deployments and investment opportunities.

After two tracks focused on future grids and renewables & hydrogen, Energy Starter is now preparing to close its 7th edition with a three-day bootcamp, from 26th to 28th of June, with the startups selected in the areas of mobility and client solutions. This third module closes with an Open Day, on June 29th, at Unicorn Factory Lisbon, in which several experts and leaders in the areas of energy and innovation will gather to debate the results achieved in this edition and discuss the trends that mark the energy sector. A meeting that will be attended by several EDP leaders, investors, experts in energy and innovation, like Ana Paula Marques (executive board member of EDP), Carlos Moedas (mayor of Lisbon), Cristina Fonseca (Indico Capital Partner), Carlos Oliveira (Fundação José Neves), Pete Armstrong (Mixergy), Corine Dubrue (HySilabs), among other names.

As an event open to the energy and innovation communities, the Energy Starter Open Day will be an opportunity to learn about the results and impact of innovation programs and initiatives and to discover disruptive technologies and projects that can inspire new ideas for a faster and more efficient energy transition. It will also be a privileged space for networking and interaction with industry leaders and visionaries who share the passion for a greener and more sustainable future.

Before this big event on the 29th of June, Energy Starter will have three days of bootcamp, during which seven startups and fast-growing technology companies (scaleup) will have the opportunity to present to EDP's global ecosystem their most innovative ideas in the areas of mobility and client solutions. The entrepreneurs will have the chance to demonstrate their ideas and how their solutions can contribute to decarbonisation and carbon neutrality, as well as work with specialists from different business areas of the EDP group in the creation of pilot projects and respective business models.

Energy Starter Open Day – Co-Innovating the Energy Transition
