EDP is offering race numbers for five races in Portuguese and Spanish cities.

• EDP Running Wonders Dão: 24 September


• Lisbon EDP: Rock’n’Roll Marathon 15 October


• EDP Bilbao Night Marathon: 21 October


• EDP Running Wonders Coimbra: 22 October


• Valencia Marathon: 19 November

The campaign offering numbers for marathons was launched on 28 August and is scheduled for two weeks. In all, about 1560 numbers will be given.

To qualify for free numbers for these races, participants must be EDP Comercial customers and must take part in the competition at comunidade.edp.pt.

To win a number, simply match the various race-related images beneath each card and if you are one of the fastest to finish the game you will win a number for the race of your choice.

The deadline for participation is different for each race:

• EDP Running Wonders Dão (half marathon, mini-marathon and walk) - 10 September, 2017;


• Lisbon Mini-Marathon - 1 October, 2017;


• EDP Running Wonders Coimbra (half marathon, mini-marathon and walk) - 8 October, 2017;


• EDP Bilbao Night Marathon – by 8 October, 2017;


• Valencia Marathon and 10k race - 5 November, 2017.

EDP is a pioneer in race event sponsorships. It has been providing support for races for two decades and has played a key role in popularizing them with the Portuguese public. It is extending its involvement to Spain, where it is also supporting a number of races.

EDP is asserting itself as the "official energy of sport" with sponsorships also of other types of sports and events, such as the Volta a Portugal cycle race and surfing and sailing.
