The Group has been recognized for the seventh consecutive year

EDP was recognized today by the Etisphere Institute as one of the most ethical companies in the world. For the seventh consecutive year, the Group has seen its performance acknowledged in this area.

In the list of 2018 World Most Ethical Companies, the Etisphere Institute listed 135 companies from 23 countries, and EDP is one of the six utilities in the Energy & Utilities sector.

The Etisphere Institute distinguishes those companies that lead with integrity and demonstrate the alignment of their management practices with the ethical principles and commitments adopted. Using its own model, the Etisphere Institute assesses the maturity and performance of ethics and compliance management systems.

Aware that sustainability and ethics are fundamental elements of a company's strategy, in 2005 the EDP Group developed its first Code of Ethics, which is transversal to companies throughout the Group.

This international award is a proof of the commitment made and demonstrated by the company to strengthening its culture of ethics and establishing a relationship of trust with its stakeholders.
