As part of the cooperation agreement between ICNB and EDP for the implementation of a plan to improve the conservation status of migratory fish and their habitats in a section of the Cávado River spanning about 27 km, between the mouth of the river and Penide Hydroelectric station, characterization studies were conducted to identify the main reasons for the decline of migratory fish species in this watercourse.
