This EDP/BMW Group Brasil initiative allows travelers to drive an electric vehicle between São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, the two most populous cities in Brazil. Deployed in Rede Ipiranga's gas stations, the six fast-charging stations cover a 430-kilometer area, making this the largest electric vehicle corridor in Latin America.

The estimated time to charge a vehicle with a 22kWh battery is 25 minutes (80% of the load). Electric mobility is one of the pillars of the Group's strategy, with a growing focus on the expansion of charging station networks also in Portugal and Spain.
