Our initiatives

EDPR Rural

The EDP Rural program aims to develop a set of customized courses, both theoretical and practical, to help rural producers, families and communities in areas of Brazil where EDP Renováveis operates. 

Traditions Program

This bi-annual program finances projects related to the preservation of Portuguese traditions, ranging from crafts to beliefs, folklore, gastronomy, popular festivals, among other popular culture customs. The goal of the Traditions Program are to support the recovery and preservation of genuine Portuguese traditions. 

Longest electric vehicle corridor

This initiative by EDP and BMW Group Brasil allows, for the first time, to make a complete trip in an electric vehicle between the capitals of São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, the two most populous cities in Brazil. This is the largest electric vehicle corridor in South America.

Encourage electric mobility

As an effective way to combat climate change, electric mobility is part of our strategic objectives. In Spain, we launched EDP Move ON where we provide the map of Spain with electric chargers.
