For the sixth year running, EDP was once again recognized by the international organization CDP for its climate policy and management of water resources. Good performance earned EDP a double A, the highest grade on the list.

The Group is in the top 2 of energy companies on the Dow Jones Sustainability Index and was considered the best in the world in criteria such as environmental policy management.

EDP's hybrid energy project bringing together solar, hydropower, and battery storage uses innovative scalable technology to reduce emissions and protect nature simultaneously. The project is one of three finalists shortlisted for the European Sustainable Energy Awards 2023 in the Innovation category.

The Clim2Power project seeks to anticipate the weather conditions in the coming season, combine this with forecasts for electric demand and, with this information, plan the management of the electrical system.
