Pursuant to the terms and for the purposes of the article 17 of Regulation (EU) No. 596/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council and of article 248-A of the Portuguese Securities code, EDP - Energias de Portugal, S.A. (“EDP”) is providing the following information to the market:

EDP Renováveis, S.A. (“EDPR”), 82.6% controlled by EDP, through its fully owned subsidiary EDP Renewables North America LLC, has completed the institutional partnership funding of 199 MW Turtle Creek, in the US in the amount of $196 million.

The institutional equity financing was previously communicated in September 19th 2018 and, under the agreement, funding of such project announced to occur closer to the start of operations of the wind farm.

EDPR also announces it has completed the funding needs of its 2018 US projects, all with long-term agreements, by securing a total of $464 million of value accretive institutional equity funding.
