RedOx2025

The main objective of the project is to evolve vanadium redox flow storage technology with Spanish technology. This storage system is connected to the grid. It has a power of 0.25 MW and a storage capacity of 1.05 MWh (4.2 hours of energy discharge). The energy will come from surplus renewable generation. This initiative will study its subsequent scalability to larger projects, whether 'stand-alone' (connected to the grid and autonomously operated) or integrated into renewable generation parks (photovoltaic, wind...).
