Meet Our Team (SF)

Sara Franzese oversees the operations of EDP Renewables’ assets across the APAC region. 

She joined EDP Renewables in January 2023 with 19 years of Energy Trading and Assets Management experience. She started her career in Enel Trade in Rome, Italy, where she worked primarily on Energy Trading desks as Market Analyst.  

In 2008, she joined Uniper (former E.ON) in Duesseldorf, Germany, covering various roles in Trading and Generation Asset Management. Sara moved to Sydney, Australia, in 2018, to set up the Operations of Enel Green Power’s solar assets. She also ran a program in 2020 at Enel Green Power to reinforce Asset and Contract Management competencies across the Operation and Maintenance team. 

Sara holds a MSc in Management Engineering from Universita’ degli Studi di Napoli Federico II, achieved with Honours.
