EDP is a Best Practice Partner of the American Productivity and Quality Centre (APQC) for process management. The APQC is a US association founded in 1977 and is a world leader in best practice and business performance benchmarking activities, with more than 750 companies in the Fortune Global 1000 list as its customers. The nomination as Best Practice Partner recognizes the efforts made by EDP since 2008, coordinated from the Corporate Centre, to define and implement a common approach to the management of its core business processes, geared towards the measurement and progressive optimization of its performance, with the main objective of creating value for the Group.
