Cultural Merit Medal

Fundação EDP received the Medal of Cultural Merit from the Secretary of State for Culture, Jorge Barreto Xavier, for its work in the area of culture in Portugal. The Ministry of Culture recognized the key role played by Fundação EDP in the promotion, dissemination and production of art and culture in Portugal. It highlighted the management of the Electricity Museum, which contributes so much to the conservation and enhancement of the heritage and the venue and is developing the construction project for an Arts and Technology Centre, a new cultural venue that will strengthen the internationalization of Portuguese culture and boost the creation of new target audiences.
