Energy Retail Award

The EDP´s Smart House solution was the winner of the Energy Retail Award, one of the awards of the European Utility Industry Awards (EUIA). The Energy Retail Award awards, at European level, the innovation within the energy retail, both for solutions directed to the direct relationship with customers and for new models of energy retail. The EDP's Smart House is the aggregator concept of four products within the scope of intelligent houses: solar energy, which allows each client to produce their own energy through solar panels; the batteries, which allow to store excess solar energy for later use; electric mobility, which offers an innovative and environmentally friendly way of traveling; and EDP re:dy, a solution that allows customers to connect and control their home using a single application, saving on comfort.
