EDP was the first Portuguese company to win the Euro Bond of the Year da International Financing Review (IFR) prize, with the best worldwide performance in debt issuance in Euros, in 2012. The winning bond, worth €750 million, was launched on 14 September and attracted 10 times more demand than the available supply.
