EDP was judged the best European company in terms of financial reporting by the 2011 IR Global Rankings. In the financial reporting category, EDP was considered an excellent example, not only in terms of rigour, transparency and consistency but also in terms of quality of information. An independent committee performs the evaluation through tests on the results and evaluations carried out by the IR Global Rankings analysts, in addition to other procedures deemed necessary to provide a reasonable basis for its evaluation.
