The accidents are considered "Recordable", when they fit in the following typology:
- Death;
- Absence from work (TTI - Temporary Total Incapacity);
- With Temporary Partial Incapacity (TPI) or Permanent Partial Incapacity (PPI);
- Without absence, with use of non-prescription medication at prescription strength;
- Without absence, with use of wound closing treatment, such as suture, staples, etc...;
- Without absence, administering immunization vaccines;
- Without absence, with use of devices with rigid stays/others designed to immobilization;
- Without absence, with physical therapy treament;
- Without absence, with loss of consciousness.
A near-miss represents an incident where no injury or ill health occured, nor resulted in any health or environmental damages. The event could have been an accident if the circumstances had been slightly different or the activities hadn't been suspended.
An hazardous situation reflects an event with potentiality to cause injuries, damages in the equipments and facilities, or other property damages.
Number of high-consequency on-duty accidents, per million of worked hours in the reference period, with company workers.
