Integrated Revenue Protection System
To combat losses in customers of Low Voltage Indirect Measurement (BTMI), the BTMI solution was developed, an innovative integrated system that allows the identification of fraud in real-time, as well as remote measurement, disconnection, and reconnection, avoiding the need for displacement to the location for inspection and disconnection actions. The technology embedded in the equipment is highly effective in high complexity locations, where the intervention of teams in the measurement is required.
After field test application, the development of the product advanced to the Pioneer Batch, allowing greater scope of result analysis of the technology's applicability. With the innovation, consumption regularization tends to improve the quality of electric service, as it prevents unknown and abusive loading of installations. The application of the product will enable greater protection to the involved assets, reduce the exposure of risks to the teams working in the process, and enhance the effectiveness of revenue protection for BTMI clients, especially those consumers located in more complex regions.
