The project proposes the development of a Polymeric Switch with Advanced Distributed Intelligence Functions with innovative features, being a lighter device, self-powered, with integrated electronics and prepared for IoT networks. With costs 30% lower than current solutions, it contributes to improved power quality, enables smart grids, accelerates system restoration, protects network assets, and reduces operational costs, in addition to enhanced automation and communication.
The Three-Phase Recloser with IoT is an innovative protection device, with a 100% polymeric body, total weight of approximately 50kg and without the use of batteries, which reduces the need for field maintenance.
The developed equipment features integrated control, operated via a Bluetooth app with password security and has solar panels for autonomy. With integrated NB-IoT and LoRa modules, it eliminates the need for external accessories and offers efficiency in installation costs.
