Lisbon, July 30^th 2019: EDP – Energias de Portugal, S.A. (“EDP”), through its 82.6% owned subsidiary EDP Renováveis, S.A. (“EDPR”), announces the completion of the sale of its full equity shareholding and outstanding shareholder loans, to institutional investors advised by J. P. Morgan Asset Management, for a total consideration of €808 million.

In detail, the portfolio comprises operating wind onshore assets with 997 MW of installed capacity (491 MW net for EDPR – shareholding at 51% in most of the assets) in Spain, Portugal, France and Belgium.

This deal was concluded today as part of the asset rotation program for 2019-22 period contemplated in the Strategic update presentation of March 12^th, 2019.
