EDP – Energias de Portugal, S.A. hereby informs, pursuant to articles 11 2) and 13 of CMVM Regulation no. 5/2008,  that on March, 19, it has transferred over-the-counter a total of 739,441 own shares at a price of €2,861 per share.

The shares above indicated were part of the treasury stock of EDP and were delivered to workers, today, as payment in kind of a part of the annual bonus granted in accordance with both the company's and the individual performances, which potential attribution is decided on an annual basis by the Executive Board of Directors, in accordance with standards previously set out.
