EDP Professional Internship is a full-time internship for young university students or recent graduates who want to enter a professional experience of 9 months. EDP's internship was my first professional experience. During my internship I had the opportunity to bridge the gap between the financial area and the Digital area of the DGU (Digital Global Unit). Financially managing Digital's products was my main activity in which I interacted with colleagues from different backgrounds and hierarchies, which allowed me to learn and develop skills with the best professionals in these areas. Additionally, I also had the opportunity to help automate consultation processes by implementing a Power BI dashboard, which motivated me to learn more about this tool. At EDP, there is a challenge for all profiles, from commercial areas to technical or Digital areas.

To achieve all of our goals, we intend to attract young people through the various opportunities we create, such as the EDP Professional Internship program.
The EDP Professional Internship has a duration of 9 to 12 months.
An EDP Professional intern is a newly graduated young individual, who has completed his final academic degree less than 3 years ago (secondary education, bachelor's degree or master's degree), and who has less than 2 years of professional experience in his training area.
We look for more than technical skills and academic knowledge, we look for people who want to put their ambition and knowledge at stake.
Through EDP's Professional Internship you will have the opportunity to apply your knowledge in your preferred professional area: Management, economics and finance; commercial, marketing and digital; engineering; informatics, data science and analytics; amongst others.
The recruitment process takes place in a remote regime and it includes several phases: (1) Online application; (2) Initial screening; (3) Online tests; (4) Final Interview.
