Benefits and well-being
Our people are at the heart of our purpose
Having attractive benefits focused on the well-being of our people has become even more important for EDP in recent years, as our employees increasingly value the opportunity to balance their personal and professional lives at work.
Based on our active listening culture, we care for the wellness of our people in all its dimensions - physical, emotional, social, professional, and financial – providing flexible benefits to ensure we meet the different needs of our employees, according to their stage of life.
Therefore, we ensure a set of global benefits and initiatives, complemented by a more specific offer adjusted to the needs and legal framework of each country.

We support our employees in balancing professional and personal life
In total, there are around 300 initiatives, developed internally and in partnership with other companies, to promote our employee's work-life balance, which we - a certified, familiarly responsible company - believe is fundamental to achieving a fairer society based on flexibility, respect, and equal opportunities.
EDP is committed to supporting employees' mental health and encourages the use of the psychosocial help services offered by the company's Social Services.
Through the excellent testimonies of the various participants, ways of dealing with stress, anxiety and depression were conveyed. More than ever it's necessary to address mental health and to be aware that we are not alone.
I'm very grateful to MYM sessions and hope it'll be resumed soon!
