Highlights of Labelec’s Participation at the MEE 2025 Fair, which took place from April 7 to 9 at the Dubai World Trade Center, with over 40.000 visitors, 1.600 exhibitors, 90 countries, 16 pavilions, and six conference areas:

• Strong presence of diesel generators/alternators (UPS);
• Demand for type tests on underground cables;
• Growing Chinese presence across all areas of the electrical sector: large alternators, inverters, solar panels, CTs, small accessories;
• Automotive manufacturers investing in the battery market for storage applications;
• Integrated systems combining solar + storage + lighting;
• Medium voltage circuit breakers with vacuum insulation (without SF6);
• Fiber poles to replace wooden utility poles;
• Power Transformer manufacturers with integrated monitoring systems;
• Fault detection systems for overhead lines;
• New construction methods for Power Transformers (fibre inclusion);
• Automotive manufacturers investing in hybrid and hydrogen engines for various applications;
• MEE follows electrification trends with a dedicated area for electric vehicle chargers.
