EDP - Energias de Portugal, S.A. informs that, on February 22nd, 2007, Mr. Carlos Jorge Feijoo Pereira Ribeiro has presented his resignation from the General and Supervisory Board.
In accordance with article 249 of the Portuguese Securities Market Code and with CMVM Regulation no. 7/2001, EDP - Energias de Portugal, S.A. hereby informs that, on February 22nd, 2007, Mr. Carlos Jorge Feijoo Pereira Ribeiro has presented his resignation from the General and Supervisory Board.
