EDP Knock Out Pitch, a space created in the latest edition of the Web Summit for startups to present their business ideas to EDP, deserved the distinction in the category of "External Event for more than 1,000 people". Designed as a recreation of a boxing ring placed on an elevating platform, this space allowed entrepreneurs, for a minute, to fight for their project before EDP. During the three days of the Web Summit, EDP Knock Out Pitch received more than 400 candidates - a record compared to previous editions. This initiative brings EDP closer to startups, one of the strategic objectives of the innovation area.
