Merco Empresas e Líderes Portugal 2023 is the result of an exhaustive analysis of 1,299 surveys of 216 executives from large companies, 40 economic journalists, 29 "members of government", 39 university professors, 40 financial analysts, 30 NGOs, 30 communication directors and opinion leaders, 40 trade unions and 40 consumer associations, as well as 800 citizens (Merco Society). In addition to these assessments, an analysis is made of the reputation of companies in the digital sphere (Merco Digital), with more than 737,206 mentions analysed, and the objective reality of companies is also assessed based on the evaluation of the reputational merits of 25 companies.EDP received the award for the Company with the Best Reputation in the Energy sector.
