On April 3 to 5, 2019, the Austrian Institute of Technology held a workshop and meetings within the InteGrid.

Austrian Institute of Technology hosted, from 3rd to 5th of April 2019, an exploitation-oriented workshop and a group of meetings within the scope of InteGrid, in their facilities in Vienna, Austria, with the participation of the NEW R&D, together with a considerable number of other consortium partners. The main goal of these meetings was to discuss the status of the ongoing tasks, as well as to engage the consortium in decision-making processes, precluding the occurrence of the previously acknowledged risks by identifying mitigation actions and plans.

The gathering has begun with the workshop on how to further exploit the key results of InteGrid project, where all the participants were actively involved in a set of interactive actions during the April the 3rd. The workshop, carried out by the European Commission’s Support Services for Exploitation of Research Results, was initiated with the introduction and characterization of the fundamental exploitation concepts and the division of the group within three key exploitation results. NEW R&D was an active piece of the working group toward LocalLife, a local social network aiming to spur consumers’ participation in the management of their consumption and local generation, enabling them to provide services to the distribution system operator.

The second day was dedicated to the operational meetings of the ongoing Work Packages (WPs), where its respective leaders have presented the already developed work and the one to come, together with the main risks and the planned tools to prevent them.

The Technical Committee, with all the WP leader, and the Executive Board assembly, composed by the demonstration leaders, have completed the agenda of the last day of the event, from which a more clear and concerted vision of the future work was attained.
