EDP informs on contract secured for 85 MW of Storage in the US

Lisbon, September 16th, 2024: EDP, S.A. (“EDP”) informs that EDP Renováveis S.A. (“EDPR”), 71.3% owned by EDP, through its fully owned subsidiary EDP Renewables North America LLC, has secured a long-term Capacity Tolling Agreement with Dominion Energy Inc. for an 85 MW (340 MWh) stand-alone BESS (Battery Energy Storage System). 

The project, located in Virginia, US, is expected to reach commercial operations in 2027.
