Iberdrola transfers shareholding in EDP

Today, Iberdrola SGPS, S.A. notified EDP that it transfered over-the-counter 248,437,516 ordinary shares, which corresponds to 6.79% of EDP's share capital and 5.00% of the respective voting rights, to Iberdrola Energia S.A.U. ("Iberener"), a company incorporated under Spanish law, established in Madrid.
Today, Iberdrola SGPS, S.A. notified EDP that it transfered over-the-counter 248,437,516 ordinary shares, which corresponds to 6.79% of EDP's share capital and 5.00% of the respective voting rights, to Iberdrola Energia S.A.U. ("Iberener"), a company incorporated under Spanish law, established in Madrid.
The Iberener is a company 100% owned by Iberdrola S.A., a company incorporated under Spanish law, quoted on the Stock Exchange and headquartered in Bilbao.
