Registration of share capital increase of EDP

Lisbon, March 6th 2023: In accordance with applicable legal provisions, EDP – Energias de Portugal, S.A. (“EDP”) hereby announces that the share capital increase without shareholder pre-emption rights concluded on March 3, 2023 has been registered with the competent Commercial Registry Office on March 3rd, 2023. This share capital increase resulted in the issuance of 218,340,612 shares, with nominal value of €1.00 each and a subscription price of €4.58 per share (i.e. with a share premium of €3.58 per share). These shares were placed with certain investors pursuant to an accelerated bookbuilding process which was completed also on March 3rd, 2023.
