State Street Corporation amendment of title of imputation

Pursuant to the terms and for the purposes of article 244 of the Portuguese Securities code and of the CMVM Regulation 5/2008, EDP - Energias de Portugal, S.A. (“EDP”) is providing the following information to the market:

On January 4th, 2019, State Street Corporation notified EDP that, in accordance with article 20 of the Portuguese Securities Code, it had reached a qualifying shareholding of 73,174,854 ordinary shares of EDP, which correspond to a total of 2.00% of EDP’s share capital and of the respective voting rights. The 2% threshold was reached by State Street Corporation on December 28th, 2018.
