Two days of blood collection
EDP Espírito Santo (Brazil) promoted among its employees, on March 9 and 10, 2022, a blood and marrow donation campaign, with the support of HEMOES - Marcos Daniel Santos State Center for Hemotherapy and Hematology.
The event took place at the CSD Carapina and achieved 86 blood donations and 41 volunteers were registered as bone marrow donors.
12 volunteers and 10 HEMOES technicians participated in the action. This campaign had a direct impact on 344 patients, who were somehow reached by this initiative.
The partnership between EDP and HEMOES has already presented results with a direct impact on local populations, and this campaign is another successful example.
