Entrepreneurship

Support program for local entrepreneurship and sustainable job creation in the regions of Portugal where EDP is present

What is ENTAMA?

ENTAMA is an initiative launched in Spain in 2019, which became Iberian with Portugal's first edition taking place in 2025 .

The program aims to support and fund business projects developed by local entrepreneurs in the municipalities where EDP operates.

Its goal is clear: to generate wealth, create jobs, and encourage population retention in areas at risk of depopulation, while promoting sustainable economic growth with social impact.

How does it work?

Projects are selected by a multidisciplinary committee from EDP, based on the following evaluation criteria:

  • Economic viability
  • Job creation (direct and indirect)
  • Innovation and sustainability
  • Social and territorial impact

Each project may receive up to €20,000 in funding.
